Dipu started his playing career with PYO which is now known as Mohammedan SC.  His debut was when he was 14 years old, as a young boy playing in an open age league (BFA) in that time was a huge recognition regarding his talent as well as his huge potential. At first he needed a lot of encouragement and guidance from senior players, however soon enough it was evident that this young player was a key asset to the team and one that could be a huge player in the future if he carried on his education. As a young player he learnt a lot from Goyes Bhai and Atik Bhai as they helped him to gain more knowledge and experience about football and the position he plays in. Dipu played for PYO for two years and then later on joined DYCE football club. Already, Dipu was an astute and experienced player and he supported his new team mates with his knowledge and experience of the game.

Playing for DYCE, Dipu had the opportunity to go abroad such as Denmark and Sweden to compete in the biggest youth tournament in the world.

Dipu was soon tipped as the ‘John Terry’ of Bengali football. Due to injury and setback, it has been difficult for him to gain 1st team football. However his ‘never die attitude’ and continuous training has allowed him to start to live up to the initial expectations made of him and he is currently in the first team of Mohammedan SC and has helped win MSC  the winter league and narrowly missed out on the summer league by 1 goal difference.

Dipu, if he continues the hard work in training and can get himself physically fit, he can definitely improve MSC and be a worthy heir to Goyas Bhai
