Emranul Hoque
Player Profile
‘An influential figure in the Mohammedan SC defence, he provides an effective physical presence and is particularly strong in the air.’
FC Berner is the team where Emran started to learn and play football. Having played for them for 8 years, Emran really developed a good attitude and understanding of football. The family environment of the club was something that he thought he would really miss. However, Mohammadan SC has equalled the atmosphere of togetherness and family that he experienced at FC Berner.
Having won the League and cup double for FC Berner in the summer of 2003, Emran had established himself at the heart of the Berner defence, allowing him to improve and have confidence in the game. His time at Berner came to an end due to the disbandment of the team during the winter season of 2009/2010. During the summer of 2010, Emran decided to join Newark where he won the summer Premier Division league. Having achieved success with Newark, Mohammadan SC came calling and it was hard to resist not joining the team. He hopes to help the team retain the Premier Division title of the 2009/2010 season and establish himself as a regular fist team player.
Emran is a powerful player who can dictate defence via his sheer quality and his excellent composure. Emran is an interesting addition to the team and one that can take the team reach new heights and create a feel of stability in the centre of defence.
